Big Music offers piano lessons for kids, teens and adults 7 days a week in our purpose-built studios in Crows Nest.
Our experienced piano teachers work with students of all ages and skill levels - from complete beginners to advanced players — helping them build confidence, technique and a genuine love of music. ​

Piano & Keyboard Lessons

​Private Piano Lessons (Kids, Teens & Adults)
Enjoy personalised one-on-one piano or keyboard lessons with an experienced coach who tailors each session to your interests and pace. Learn:

  • Proper technique & hand position

  • Reading music and chord charts

  • Following a syllabus with graded exams

  • Playing your favourite songs 

  • Improvisation, theory, ear training & composition

Students can follow a flexible, song-based approach or work through the Rockschool graded syllabus, developing real-world contemporary music skills along the way.

Small Group Piano & Music Classes for Kids
We also offer fun, social group music classes for children, including:

  • Multi-instrumental after-school music classes (ages 5+) – kids rotate through a variety of instruments including piano, learning rhythm, melody and teamwork

  • Piano-specific group classes (ages 7–11) – a structured, confidence-building way to learn piano alongside friends

These classes are ideal for younger students who thrive in a collaborative, energetic environment.

Private Lessons

Weekly lessons with a dedicated coach in a reserved time slot (in studio or online):

  • 30 mins - $69

  • 60 mins - $125​

Available until 3pm (Mon-Fri) and after 7:30pm (Mon-Thu).  

  • ​30 mins - $60

  • 60 mins - $110 ​​​​

Flexipass: Prepaid Private Lessons

Pay in advance, save and book with flexibility

  • 5 x 30 mins - $320, 10 x 30 mins - $620

  • 5 x 60 mins - $595, 10 x 60 mins - $1150​​

Small Group Classes for Kids
