Function Room for Hire

The "Big Room" at Big Music is a fun function room for a wide range of functions and events - from private Birthday Parties to corporate Christmas Parties and any other special occasion.

Our spacious and modern function room can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests standing and around 100 seated.  

We specialise at hosting functions with LIVE MUSIC.  The function room features a full stage set up with a PA system, backline and lighting ready-to-go for any live music performance.  

 

Big Music can even help with sourcing talented musicians to perform at your function, and organise fun activities for your guests such as a rock choir or karaoke.  

The function room hire includes access to our kitchen facilities and outdoor BBQ on the adjoining terrace.  If you are looking for catering, we can suggest a number of local restaurants and catering companies that we have worked with before.  

Please note that Big Music is NOT a licensed venue, therefore drinks are BYO and the service of alcohol will be your responsibility.  

Function Room Hire inclusions

  • Bar / Canteen area (BYO)

  • Kitchen equipped with oven, cook top, dishwasher and fridges

  • Tables and lounges available

  • Chairs for up to 100 guests

  • External terrace / sun deck

  • Gas BBQ

  • Stage 6m x 3m

  • PA System / Lighting (excludes backline)

Pricing & Booking Policies

  • Booking fee $100 + cleaning fee $250 + basic room hire from $150 / hour

  • Minimum function room hire is 4 hours

  • Room access will be provided 1 hour prior for set up  

  • Additional charges may apply (if required) for AV Equipment (projector etc), Backline Hire, Sound Engineering, Musical Talent, Support Staff, Security, Catering, Decorations

  • Extra security charges will apply for events with 50 or more guests

  • For any events held out of our regular operating hours require staff to be present. This will be an additional fee 

  • A fully-customised quote for your event will be provided on application

Booking fee and 25% refundable deposit payable at time of booking.  Balance payable 7 days prior to the event.  

10% surcharge applies to Sunday bookings. 

Please note as a courtesy to our neighbours a curfew of 11pm applies to all functions and access to the external balcony is restricted after 9:30pm.
