Can I choose which songs I want to learn?
Absolutely! You're encouraged to bring your favourite songs. Your coach may also recommend songs to suit your current level and help you progress.
Will I need to follow a specific syllabus?
No — you can choose your own musical path.
We do offer the Rockschool syllabus for students who want a structured progression or to sit exams. Our coaches can guide students all the way to Level 8.
Am I too old to start music lessons?
Never! We welcome adult students of all ages and experience levels. All you need is the desire to learn and have fun with music.
Is my child too young?
Most children are ready to start music lessons around age 5, but it depends on the child and the instrument.

What's the best instrument for kids to learn?

Are 30-minute or 60-minute lessons best?
It depends on the student’s age, attention span, and goals:
-
For young kids, we usually recommend 30-minute lessons
-
For adults and more advanced students, 60-minute lessons may be more beneficial
We’ll help you choose the best fit based on your needs and availability.
How many lessons will I need?
That depends on your goals and how much you practice!
Some students go from beginner to band-ready in under a year. Others simply enjoy playing for personal satisfaction. The journey is yours — and it never really ends!
How do you take payment for lessons?
-
Regular Students: Pay-as-you-go via automated credit card payments on the day of each lesson
-
Casual Bookings: Paid in advance by credit card (over the phone or online)
-
Prepaid Packs: Buy a lesson pack (Flexipass) for discounted rates and flexible scheduling
What happens if I can’t make a lesson?
No problem — your coach will use your booked time to prepare a personalised video lesson and resources, sent to you via LessonMate.
This helps you stay on track even if you can't attend in person.
You can also suspend your regular lessons for 2–4 weeks with one week’s notice — perfect for holidays or short breaks.
Can I book a lesson online?
Yes! You can book online anytime through our scheduling system:
