Ever dreamed of being in a rock band?
Now you can...
Join a Big Music Rock Show.
Adult Rock Show Program

Join a rock band, meet fellow musicians and re-connect with your love of music and dreams of performing in a band on stage.
Our Adult Rock Shows are 2 hours a week of sheer fun and escapism from the grind of everyday life that can sometimes wear you down.
You'll be put into your very own rock band and assigned songs that have been handpicked for your show theme. Rock Shows are coached by professional musicians with years of experience performing live.
Your only responsibility is to learn the songs at home, perhaps take a few private lessons (optional, and with a special discount) then rehearse with your band every week.
In the last few weeks of the program you'll be rehearsing on our venue stage where your coach will take you through all aspects of stage craft, band dynamics and anything else you'll need to put on a jaw-dropping performance for your family and friends.

Rock Show FAQS
-
What is a Rock Show? Rock Shows at Big Music are a unique rock and roll performance program where you'll join a cast with other musicians, form bands and prepare for a live rock show in front of friends and family at Big Music's venue.
-
How much experience do you need? To get the most out of the program, you need to be at Level 4 on Big Music's Player Evolution grading scale. There is no expectation that you will have ever played in a band before, but you do need a basic level of competency on your instrument. Guitarists must be able to play power chords and understand guitar tabs. Bass players and drummers must be able to play through an entire song confidently and understand tempo and rhythm. Keyboard players must be able to play through an entire song using both hands. Singers must be able to learn songs at home and perform them with a band without reading lyrics. That's about it!
-
What will you get out of it it? A huge buzz, new friends and unforgettable memories! By joining a Rock Show, you'll receive mentoring from highly experienced pro-musicians, improve your overall musicianship, access state-of-the-art rehearsal and performance facilities, meet other like-minded musicians, and experience playing in a live band in front of a real audience filled with your family and friends.
