Sasha has been involved with music since the ripe young age of 4 and while at school, performed, competed and toured nationally and internationally in one of Australia's best choirs. Sasha holds a Bachelor in Teaching (High School Music) from Sydney University and also studied at the Australian Institute of Music, learning from some of Australia's best musicians completing a Bachelor of Music (Performance in Voice and Composition).
Sasha has toured nationally and internationally with his original bands Venus Fly Trap and Wormholes Exist, and has been part of the Sydney band circuit for many years. He also performs regularly in cover bands ranging across many musical styles and genres.
Although focussed on vocal tuition and using the voice as an instrument, Sasha also plays guitar, keyboard, bass and drums with an interest in composing, recording and performing.

While Cleo has a particular passion for classic rock, she grew up studying classical music and has a thorough approach to technique and skill acquisition. She has played with artists such as Idea of North, Synergy, Taikoz and Ice Cube as well as a number of orchestras and stage bands. Cleo is currently studying for a Bachelor of Music Education at the Sydney Conservatorium.
Cleo is an efficient communicator and very patient. She works on the fundamental principal that every student deserves respect not only in the way she interacts with them, but in the effort she puts into their lessons. She believes in the diverse creative abilities of all people and that music should be fun and intriguing.

Local to Sydney, Rachel started learning classical piano and drums/percussion in primary school. Her love for music continued through high school, where she learnt bass, guitar & cello and studied Music 2 & Music Extension in high school (piano and composition) whilst gigging as a drummer from age 16 in a number of hip hop and metal bands.
Rachel completed a B. Music at AIM where she played in the Big Band, Salsa Band and Jazz Ensemble as well as working in rock, folk and cover bands. Since then she has played in her electro pop band (headlining Oxford Art Factory, playing various venues, festivals and warehouses across Sydney) as well as working with the independent collective Surveillance Party. Other work she has been engaged in includes cover gigs, recording sessions, production and social media management.
Rachel aims to create an environment where students can have fun and develop a passion for their instrument whilst ensuring they push their boundaries to get the most out of their learning experience.
Bachelor of Music Berklee College
Nick’s love for the piano flourished when he started teaching himself jazz piano at the age of 10. After gigging at various pubs and venues throughout Sydney with his band, Toy Temple, Nick then moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music.
While studying for his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Composition, Nick formed a jazz trio that played across Boston, including on the Boston cable access show African Ascent. Since returning to Sydney he has become a familiar face on the gigging circuit playing for funk band Funk Engine and rock band Shamanic.
Nick has a unique understanding of the foundations you need in place to accelerate your learning progress. Nick likes to apply theory and techniques to popular songs the students know and love, keeping his lessons fun while building his students’ personal repertoires.

John has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music Studies from UNSW and is currently completing a Bachelor of Music - Improvised Music at University of Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
With a vast depth of understanding of music theory and performance technique, John can identify his students' areas of strength and weakness and address them accordingly. Each lesson is tailored around the individual, whether they want to play Wolfmother or Beethoven, for school or personal interest.
John listens to the student's needs and lets them develop at their own pace. His main focus is on nurturing creativity and passion for music over short term results.

Born into a musical family, Lucas developed a strong passion, knowledge and natural instinct for sound & composition across a broad range of styles. Having played the guitar since the age of six, Lucas has gained a thorough understanding of the instrument which he has displayed through live performance at a local and international level including workshops, private & group tuition, song writing sessions and studio work.
Lucas offers a relaxed, friendly and professional learning experience covering various aspects of electric and acoustic guitar such as technique, rhythm and lead, improvisation, chord & scale knowledge, transcription, songs, composition, preparation for HSC & Uni entry level exams, building a repertoire and more! Beginner to advanced students of all ages are welcome so may you wish to strum songs around the campfire, brush up on your already existing skills or guide your talent toward a professional career, Lucas will make every effort to inspire and get results fast!

Kelly is a singer, pianist, guitarist and violinist. Originally from Victoria's south-west, she has lived in Sydney since 2014.
Already singing and playing piano from a very young age, Kelly took up violin lessons at the age of 7, and guitar in high school. Kelly has performed in many orchestras, choirs, small ensembles and as a soloist over the years, as well as fronting rock bands.
Kelly’s years of training in classical music gave her a strong foundation to pursue contemporary genres as a singer and multi-instrumentalist. She loves to perform as a soloist or as a part of a band or duo.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)/Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University (Melbourne) and a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Performance) from JMC Academy (Sydney) specialising in vocals.
She has worked in public and private schools as a classroom Music teacher, keyboard tutor and as an Integration Aide.
Kelly loves to help students reach their full potential and find their sound. She is proud to be a Big Music Coach, helping students to achieve their goals and, most importantly, have fun!

Angus is a multi-instrumentalist based in Sydney (since 2008), and originally from country NSW. He comes from a musical family (his father is an accomplished bagpiper) and has been surrounded by music from a young age.
Angus started his musical journey at the age of 8 on the piano and studied piano formally until he was 15. After this Angus began to study bass guitar and began gigging professionally at the age of 16. Angus still plays regularly in the Sydney area as a bass player, guitarist and keys player.
Angus has a real passion for coaching music and uses a song-based learning approach where the student is able to pick the material. Angus believes in fostering a love for music from the very beginning and his coaching style reflects this - his students are able to play the songs they love from day one.

Yasmin is a recent graduate of UNSW’s Bachelor of Music (Honours)/Bachelor of Science program, majoring in classical vocal performance and psychology. She has been singing for as long as she can remember, and started taking individual lessons as well as writing her own pop-influenced songs during high school. Yasmin then transitioned to singing classical and musical theatre styles at university, however her passion for all styles of music remains.
Both throughout university and after Yasmin was actively involved in chamber choirs and various musical theatre productions as both a singer and coach. These include The Producers, Guys and Dolls, Into the Wood, and most recently Wicked with Manly Musical Society. In 2016, she music directed her first show, which kickstarted her love of teaching.
In her coaching, Yasmin firmly believes in creating a partnership with the student – both coach and student need to be on the same team and her collaborative coaching style works to enhance this. She also aims to help each student find their own sound, at the same time as building a solid foundation of vocal technique and vocal health. Most importantly, Yasmin aims to transmit her passion and enthusiasm for singing to her students – and of course, to have fun at the same time!

Kyle started out as a drummer by going into the kitchen at the age of 2 and overturning anything he could find to make it into a drum set. While keeping up his drumming, he took piano lessons for 8 years and made it his business to learn the guitar too, quickly discovering that music is his passion in life.
Kyle has played internationally in America, Japan and New Zealand. He currently drums for three bands, all of which have played shows around Australia and garnered supports with international acts. He is also sought out as a drummer for hire, filling in for acts such as Caligula and playing regularly with the band Tensions Arise, in which he has drummed for over 8 years.
Kyle has also spent a lot of time in the studio, recording 2 full-length albums, 2 EPs and several singles as well as recording in LA with renowned producer/ Logan Mader (ex Machinehead guitarist).
Most of all Kyle loves connecting with other musicians because he believes there is so much to learn from each other. Kyle is excited about the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience and to encourage others with their passion for music.

Angus started to learn classical piano at the age of 5 and trumpet during primary school. Through his experience at school and in the band program at Big Music, he also started learning to sing in bands and classically. Angus has played in a variety of groups, ensembles, orchestras and choirs while studying IB Music HL in high school.
While studying a B Arts (Music)/B Commerce at MQ, Angus continues to play gigs as a solo artist and in various bands around Sydney. He toured the USA with Big Music in 2015/16, playing at some of the biggest festivals and most prestigious venues in the country. Aside from the opportunities that Big Music gave him, Angus also performed regularly in a capella groups, big bands, orchestras, choirs and rock bands while at school.
Angus likes to create a comfortable and creative environment that caters for all levels of ability and interests. By focusing first on technique, Angus can help you build the ability to play any song and achieve your goals while having fun.

Ben first started playing music at the age of 12, learning the piano and singing along with songs that he was interested in at the time. As his musical taste and knowledge grew, he picked up the guitar and continued to learn how to use his voice in both band and solo environments. Ben finished his HSC at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) Secondary College, where he excelled with a Band 6 in Music. His high school experience, as well as the brilliant musicians he met along the way sculpted his playing and performance abilities into what they are today. He is now in the middle of his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music at Macquarie University. Currently, Ben is the frontman of an original band, Plastic Jack, and is emersing himself in the thriving culture of the Sydney music scene, co-creating Local Live, a live recording company and YouTube channel for original bands around the city.
Ben believes in the power of creativity and knows that every student is very different in the way they like to learn. Whether they are just starting out, or are already writing their own songs, Ben will bring the best out of them and nurture their potential. He works with his students to set goals on their instrument/s and strives to help them achieve these goals. With so much experience in live performance, Ben brings the energy out of his students and is incredibly passionate about their musical growth.
