Big Music in the Community
The beating heart of Big Music is our community of passionate playing musicians across all of our staff, coaches, students and shop customers. The one thing we all have in common is a love of playing music and a desire to share that joy with others. So when opportunities arise to support an event or a worthy cause by getting members of our community out there and playing, we see it as the perfect way to fulfil our mission: to make a positive difference in people’s lives through music.

Lord Howe Island Rockfest
Big Music organises and sponsors this annual event on remote Lord Howe Island that brings the whole community together for a week of incredible performances in some of the most spectacular locations imaginable.
Variety: The Children’s Charity
Big Music is proud to support Variety: The Children’s Charity through a range of events and fundraising activities throughout the year including the Variety Kids Choir that Big Music co-ordinates and mentors.
Crows Nest Festival
Each year Big Music provides free entertainment throughout the day on the main stage of the Crows Nest Festival featuring our talented student bands.
Benevolent Society / iMatter
It has been our great privilege to support iMatter, an innovative mentoring program for young girls developed by the Benevolent Society.
Support for Local School Fundraising
We take pleasure in supporting the fundraising endeavours of many local schools in our neighbourhood by donating prizes and silent auction items.
