Guy Vaughan-Smith
Guy started playing Bass Guitar professionally at the age of 17 in numerous rock, pop and jazz bands. While completing his studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music he continued to perform in many different groups and styles ranging from the Conservatorium Jazz Big Band to the Australian Blues Brothers Show, along with other rock and pop cover bands, musical societies and jazz/funk groups. He plays regularly with leading Sydney function bands such as Hipnosis and Blue Train, which has included performing with various artists such as Mindi Jackson (Rogue Traders) and R&B singer Jade Macrae.
Guy teaches Bass Guitar to students of all levels and ages, covering various playing styles and techniques to help them increase both their enjoyment and knowledge of music.
