Geoffrey is a phenomenal banjo player whose passion for music began at the age of 11. Strongly influenced by artists such as Pete Seeger, he began performing professionally in 1977 and eventually took his banjo around the world, performing in the United States, Europe, Australia and Central America for five years. He is currently in the process of planning an album and performs regularly with 'The Spirit of the Land', predominantly at Circular Quay. Geoffrey began teaching privately in 1980 in the United States before settling in Australia. His primary focus is on individual goals and helping you achieve exactly what you set out to do. He believes that students are individuals with unique strengths, and he focuses on those strengths in order to inspire and encourage success. He teaches at a gradual pace to build basic skills and develop a strong foundation.
