Chris Jones
Chris Jones is a contemporary guitarist who got his first guitar at twelve years of age. In his 24 years of playing the guitar, Chris has gained professional experience in all facets of music production, composition and performance. He has taught students of all levels in such establishments as the Hornsby Community College and The Young Musicians Program at The Australian Institute of Music. Chris gained his Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music in 2008. Throughout his career he has played in corporate cover bands and has Session experience with various Australian Artists. Continuing his knowledge of production and guitar techniques Chris has asserted himself as a valuable team member in a contemporary band environment and including in 2009 was the winner of the Emergenza Australian final "Best Guitarist" award.
